About the Green Power Leadership Awards
Sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), and the Center for Resource Solutions (CRS), the Green Power Leadership Awards are competitive awards that recognize outstanding commitments and achievements in the green power marketplace in the following three award categories:

The awards will be given in the following categories:

  • Purchasers. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency recognizes leading partner organizations that have helped further the green power market by making leading green power purchases and increasing awareness among stakeholders.
  • Suppliers. The U.S. Department of Energy recognizes exceptional achievement among green power suppliers to end-use customers in supporting increased market deployment of renewable energy technologies.
  • Market Development. The Center for Resource Solutions recognizes individuals, companies, or other renewable energy industry leaders that have helped build the market for green power.

The Awards will be presented on September 14, 2009, in conjunction with the Renewable Energy Markets 2009 Conference in Atlanta, Georgia.
